Watching The Whales

Family Adventure (Narrative)

Mom and Dad surprised our whole family with a whale watching trip. Before setting sail,  Dad  carried me  piggy back while Mom pushed my empty wheelchair up the ramp toward the ship! Once aboard, I was seated back into my wheelchair and strapped in for a wonderous adventure.

After some time, the captain sighted a pod of 6 large humpback whales and then two adult blue whales.  They were playfully swimming and feeding on krill while spouting water from their blowholes. It was an amazing sight to see. My family will never forget that trip!

Song: Watching The Whales

Setting our sails, hunting for whales,

without harpoons, just binoculars
Watchin' them jump, watchin' them play
Oh, I can sit and watch 'em all day.

Setting our sails
Hunting for whales
Without Harpoons, just binoculars

Up the coast in the deep blue sea
I hope to see a whale and a whale to see me.

Hey friend the sea's a circus with it's giant acrobats
I bet you never thought you'd ever,
get to see a whale jump like that!

Splashin' through waves and havin' such fun
puttin' on a show for everyone

Big and blue and tons of fun
I never want this show to ever be done

Hey, friend the sea's a circus with it's giant acrobats.
I bet you never thought you'd ever,
get to see a whale jump like that.

Setting our sails hunting for whales
without Harpoons, just binoculars

Watchin' them jump, watchin' them play
Oh, I could sit and watch them all day.
Oh, I could sit and watch them all day.
Oh, I could  and watch all day.
